With the weather shifting into July, some people might be heading out to the lake or pool. And among those heading out, there are probably many people who want to dive into the water right away. Yet a recent study explored the injuries that can result from diving. In the study it was found, among other results, that diving injuries commonly involve the spine, shoulders and hands. While the study focused on competitive divers, injuries to these body parts can also happen from recreational diving activities. In which case, make sure to dive with caution when heading out for a swim.
